August 13, 2026 2026年8月13日 Fusuma narrows its focus to the Mac — with a file browser that keeps its place and a chat box that keeps your cursor in view.
FusumaはMac上の作業に焦点を絞りました。ファイルブラウザーは見ていた場所を覚え、チャット入力欄ではカーソルが常に見えるようになりました。
New Features
- iPhone Mode has been removed. Fusuma now concentrates on what it does best on your Mac — driving your browser, your apps, and your files.
- Switching the file browser from card view back to the tree now lands on the folder you were just looking at, with the whole path already expanded — no re-navigating from the workspace root.
- 「iPhoneモード」を廃止しました。Fusumaはこれから、Mac上のブラウザー・アプリ・ファイルを操作するという、本来の得意分野に集中します。
- ファイルブラウザーをカード表示からツリー表示に戻したとき、直前まで見ていたフォルダーが選ばれ、そこまでの階層も展開された状態で表示されます。ルートからたどる必要はありません。
Bug Fixes
- The file browser no longer gets stuck on a folder that has been moved or deleted — it falls back to the nearest folder that still exists.
- Pressing Enter for a new line in the chat box now keeps that empty line visible, and the cursor stays in view as you type past the second line.
- フォルダーを移動・削除したときにファイルブラウザーが表示できなくなる問題を修正しました。存在する直近のフォルダーに自動で戻ります。

カスタム指示とアップデート後の自動再開により、エージェントをさらに扱いやすくなりました。
New Features
- Add Custom Instructions once and Fusuma applies them automatically to every new Claude Code and Codex session, across all workspaces.
- App updates can now download and install while AI chats keep working. When Fusuma is ready to restart, interrupted turns resume automatically instead of leaving you to reconstruct the work.
- The workspace picker now lets you select an existing project or create a new folder in one place.
- The Status Island shows clearer context for the agent you are addressing, while cleaner widget headers keep provider and window controls aligned even in narrow panels.
- 「カスタム指示」を一度設定すれば、すべてのワークスペースで、新しく開始するClaude CodeとCodexのセッションに自動で適用されます。

Bug Fixes
- Session recovery no longer lets an unused chat attach to a sibling widget's conversation, and recovery state remains durable if startup is interrupted again.
- 未使用のチャットが別のウィジェットの会話を誤って引き継ぐ問題を修正しました。起動途中でもう一度終了した場合も、復元情報が失われません。
Fusuma's built-in skills now come straight from the signed app, so nothing on disk can rewrite them out from under a running session.
Fusuma標準のスキルを署名済みアプリ本体から直接読み込むようになりました。実行中のセッションの足元でスキルが書き換えられることはありません。
New Features
- Browse Mode, App Mode and sub-agent instructions are now read from inside the signed app instead of files under your home directory. That folder is writable by anything running as you — including the AI's own shell — so a malicious web page or document could previously have rewritten a skill and had the rewritten version followed moments later, in the same session. Fusuma no longer writes those files at all.
- AI runs keep streaming at full speed when Fusuma is not the frontmost window. macOS was throttling background windows, so a long run left in the background finished noticeably slower than one you were watching.
- ブラウズモード・アプリモード・サブエージェントの指示文を、ホームディレクトリ配下のファイルではなく署名済みアプリの内部から読み込むようになりました。このフォルダはユーザー権限で動くあらゆるプロセス（AI自身のシェルを含む）が書き換えられるため、従来は悪意あるWebページや文書がスキルを書き換え、その直後に同じセッションで実行させることが理論上可能でした。今後はこれらのファイルを一切書き出しません。
- Fusumaが最前面にない状態でもAIの実行が本来の速度で進むようになりました。これまではmacOSによる背面ウィンドウの抑制が働き、バックグラウンドに置いた長い実行が目に見えて遅くなっていました。
Bug Fixes
- Finished runs no longer show "Waiting for AI response" in the status island when there is no response preview to show — it now says "No response preview", which no longer contradicts the status badge next to it.
- 完了済みの実行でプレビューが無い場合、ステータスアイランドに「AIの応答を待機中」と表示されなくなりました。「プレビューなし」と表示され、隣のステータス表示と矛盾しなくなります。
The update prompt is now a dialog you can actually click — and it stays put while the update downloads.
アップデートの案内がダイアログになり、確実にクリックできるようになりました。ダウンロード中も表示されたままです。

- The update prompt stays on screen while the update downloads, showing progress and surfacing any error. Previously it closed the instant you clicked, leaving only a small indicator in the toolbar — which made a perfectly healthy update look like nothing had happened.
- アップデートのダウンロード中も案内が表示されたままになり、進捗とエラーがその場で確認できます。これまではクリックした瞬間に閉じ、ツールバーの小さな表示だけが残るため、正常に進んでいても「何も起きていない」ように見えていました。
Bug Fixes
- Fixed "Install and restart now" doing nothing when a browser panel was open. The prompt used to be a menu that browser panels covered, so clicks landed on the web page behind it instead of the button. It is now a dialog, and browser panels step aside while it is open.
- ブラウザパネルを開いていると「今すぐインストールして再起動」を押しても反応しない問題を修正しました。以前はメニュー形式だったためブラウザパネルに覆われ、クリックがボタンではなく背後のWebページに届いていました。ダイアログ形式に変更し、表示中はブラウザパネルが退避するようになりました。

- Browse Mode, App Mode, and sub-agents now ship as proper skills. Your AI discovers and invokes them on its own instead of being handed a block of instructions, and you can customize each one by editing ~/.fusuma/skills/browser-use/SKILL.md, app-control/SKILL.md, or sub-agent/SKILL.md.
- The Status Island keeps sessions in a stable order. Entries follow your workspace and widget layout — and each sub-agent stays pinned under the chat that started it — instead of shuffling every time an agent starts or finishes.
- The Status Island's collapsed summary now names every state currently in play, so you can tell at a glance whether anything is waiting on you.

New Features
- The Status Island is a compact overlay that shows what every AI chat is doing at a glance. Send a prompt to any of them without switching windows, queue follow-ups while one is still working, and answer permission requests and multiple-choice questions right there — with a review step before your answers are submitted.
- Updating is now one click. "Install and restart now" downloads the update and restarts immediately instead of quietly waiting for your AI chats to finish, and it tells you plainly how many chats a restart will interrupt.
- If a chat was mid-answer when an update restarted Fusuma, the prompt that started it comes back in the composer so you can resend it with one keystroke.
- A staged update now installs itself the next time you step away from the app, and Fusuma nudges you if you have been running an old version for days.
- The / menu is far cleaner. Fusuma now finds skills in any folder named "skills" in your project, lists each skill once instead of once per file inside it, and sorts your project's skills for the provider you are actually using to the top. Skills organized in nested folders now work too.
- Attached files show their real file name in the composer instead of a generic placeholder, and deleting the name detaches the file.

- Update problems are visible again. A failed update check now appears in the banner with a retry button, and a download that stops responding no longer waits forever with no signal.
- Clicks no longer land on the wrong spot in the terminal when the window is zoomed.
- The Codex view no longer jumps away from the latest output while it redraws.
- Scrolling through long terminal sessions is noticeably faster.

A maintenance release that corrects how anonymous usage milestones are counted.
匿名の利用マイルストーンの計測方法を修正したメンテナンスリリースです。
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where Fusuma could re-send the same anonymous usage milestone many times instead of once. No prompts, files, or terminal output were ever involved — but the duplicates made our own install numbers wrong, so we corrected them and removed the bad records.
- Our privacy policy now discloses that fusuma.dev records a single anonymous download event when you copy the Homebrew command or click the DMG button, so we can tell how many downloads become working installs. See Section 13.
- 同じ匿名の利用マイルストーンが 1 回ではなく何度も送信されることがある不具合を修正しました。プロンプトやファイル、ターミナルの内容が含まれることは一切ありませんでしたが、重複によって当社の導入数の集計が不正確になっていたため、修正のうえ不正なレコードを削除しました。

- Dotfile names are now allowed when renaming or creating files in the file widget. You can rename to .env, .gitignore, and friends — only "." and ".." themselves are still blocked.
- Terminal widgets reliably regain focus after a workspace switch. Previously a terminal that had focus before you switched away would stay unfocused on return until you clicked it.
- Auto-update relaunch now resumes chat sessions across every workspace, not just the one currently on screen. Previously, chats in background workspaces silently spawned fresh sessions after an update.
