September 19, 2026 2026年9月19日 Claude widgets now get their status straight from Claude Code, so the spinner and done mark match what Claude is actually doing.

- Claude widgets report busy, waiting-for-input, and finished states through Claude Code's own session events instead of guessing from the text drawn in the terminal. Permission prompts, questions, sub-agents, and background tasks all feed the same indicator.
- Slash-command autocomplete matches on plain substrings, with exact and prefix matches ranked first, so the command you are typing shows up where you expect.
- Prompt history navigation works past the first 20 saved prompts.

- Installing an update now waits until your chat sessions and workspace layout are safely saved. If that save fails, the app stays open and shows a message so you can try again instead of losing work.
- Browse Mode and App Mode stay switched on after an update restart or crash recovery, so you pick up exactly where you left off.

- Tools and terminal commands launched from Fusuma can now use your camera. macOS asks for permission the first time, just like it does for the microphone.
- Prompt history recall with Up and Down is more predictable: it only steps through past prompts when the caret is at the edge of your draft, and it stays out of the way while Shift is held.
- Deleting a worktree that still has unsaved changes is now refused, so a stray click can no longer throw away work.

September 7, 2026 2026年9月7日 CSV previews get resizable columns and rows, and you can hop between worktrees and widgets from the keyboard.

- CSV previews now let you resize columns and rows. Drag a header edge, or focus it and use the arrow keys; double-click to reset to the default size.
- Large CSV files scroll smoothly, and the header row stays pinned to the top while you scroll.
- Cmd+Up and Cmd+Down jump to the previous or next worktree, and Cmd+Shift+Arrow moves focus between widgets. Hold the shortcut to see where each key will take you.
- The sidebar status dot now surfaces the most important AI activity in each workspace, so a waiting prompt or an error is never hidden behind a finished one.

September 4, 2026 2026年9月4日 The Status Island is retired, your chat drafts stick around, and Fusuma runs as a single process again.

- Status Island has been removed. Everything it showed now lives in the main window, and Fusuma no longer runs a separate helper process alongside the app.
- Unsent chat text is kept for each widget, so switching workspaces or reopening a panel brings back exactly what you were typing.

- Your prompt history is saved for each chat, so previous prompts are still there after you restart Fusuma.
- The sidebar now shows whether an AI agent in a background worktree is still working, waiting for your input, or finished, without switching to it.
- You can now delete the worktree you are currently in. Fusuma switches you to the main worktree first, then removes it.

- Worktrees you add or remove from a terminal, or that an AI agent creates for you, now appear in and disappear from the workspace sidebar on their own. No more restarting Fusuma or re-opening the workspace to see the current list.
- When a worktree goes away, its saved widget layout and position in the list are cleaned up automatically instead of lingering.

September 3, 2026 2026年9月3日 Git worktrees come to workspaces: create, switch between, and manage parallel branch checkouts without leaving Fusuma.
ワークスペースにGitワークツリーが登場。複数ブランチの並行作業を、Fusumaから離れずに作成・切り替え・管理できます。
New Features
- Each workspace now lists its git worktrees, so you can keep several branches checked out side by side and switch between them with a click. Widget layouts and AI status are kept separately per worktree, so each branch keeps its own setup.
- Create a new worktree straight from the workspace panel: enter a branch name and Fusuma checks it out in a sibling folder, reusing the branch if it already exists. Delete worktrees you are done with, with a confirmation before anything is removed.
- Drag worktrees to arrange them in the order you like. Your order is remembered between launches.
- Add a .worktreeinclude file to your repo listing local, git-ignored files (such as .env) and Fusuma copies them into every new worktree, so a fresh checkout is ready to run.
- 各ワークスペースにGitワークツリーの一覧が表示され、複数のブランチを並行してチェックアウトしたままワンクリックで切り替えられます。ウィジェットのレイアウトやAIの状態はワークツリーごとに保持されるため、ブランチごとの作業環境がそのまま残ります。

August 18, 2026 2026年8月18日 AI widgets stay responsive across busy workspaces, while file browsing handles real-world folders and larger previews more smoothly.

- Run several AI sessions across multiple workspaces without inactive chats competing for rendering time. Restored widgets and hidden sub-agents also start reliably when you reopen Fusuma or switch workspaces.
- Card view now creates files and folders inside the folder you are viewing. Renaming long files is easier too: the editable name stays readable and the cursor remains in view.
- Larger text and Markdown files can now be previewed directly in Fusuma.

- iPhone Mode has been removed. Fusuma now concentrates on what it does best on your Mac — driving your browser, your apps, and your files.
- Switching the file browser from card view back to the tree now lands on the folder you were just looking at, with the whole path already expanded — no re-navigating from the workspace root.

カスタム指示とアップデート後の自動再開により、エージェントをさらに扱いやすくなりました。

- Add Custom Instructions once and Fusuma applies them automatically to every new Claude Code and Codex session, across all workspaces.
- App updates can now download and install while AI chats keep working. When Fusuma is ready to restart, interrupted turns resume automatically instead of leaving you to reconstruct the work.
- The workspace picker now lets you select an existing project or create a new folder in one place.
- Cleaner widget headers keep provider and window controls aligned even in narrow panels.

Fusuma's built-in skills now come straight from the signed app, so nothing on disk can rewrite them out from under a running session.
Fusuma標準のスキルを署名済みアプリ本体から直接読み込むようになりました。実行中のセッションの足元でスキルが書き換えられることはありません。
New Features
- Browse Mode, App Mode and sub-agent instructions are now read from inside the signed app instead of files under your home directory. That folder is writable by anything running as you — including the AI's own shell — so a malicious web page or document could previously have rewritten a skill and had the rewritten version followed moments later, in the same session. Fusuma no longer writes those files at all.
- AI runs keep streaming at full speed when Fusuma is not the frontmost window. macOS was throttling background windows, so a long run left in the background finished noticeably slower than one you were watching.
- ブラウズモード・アプリモード・サブエージェントの指示文を、ホームディレクトリ配下のファイルではなく署名済みアプリの内部から読み込むようになりました。このフォルダはユーザー権限で動くあらゆるプロセス（AI自身のシェルを含む）が書き換えられるため、従来は悪意あるWebページや文書がスキルを書き換え、その直後に同じセッションで実行させることが理論上可能でした。今後はこれらのファイルを一切書き出しません。

- Fixed "Install and restart now" doing nothing when a browser panel was open. The prompt used to be a menu that browser panels covered, so clicks landed on the web page behind it instead of the button. It is now a dialog, and browser panels step aside while it is open.

Bug Fixes
- Dotfile names are now allowed when renaming or creating files in the file widget. You can rename to .env, .gitignore, and friends — only "." and ".." themselves are still blocked.
- Terminal widgets reliably regain focus after a workspace switch. Previously a terminal that had focus before you switched away would stay unfocused on return until you clicked it.
- Auto-update relaunch now resumes chat sessions across every workspace, not just the one currently on screen. Previously, chats in background workspaces silently spawned fresh sessions after an update.
